To me, pack the bag with some essential items, get some cash, start the walk to grab a taxi or bus or maybe train to go somewhere. By air too to go a far distance. For a few days or weeks. Even months if going for few destinations.
However, here I am talking about my little travel experiences in past. Contributing to Google Maps as a Local Guide is a good idea too. You can walk around, posting pictures and writing a short description can be a startup as a photo shooter and writing on travel. I am doing.
Then next I will continue with new travel, hope I will soon.
At least some places out of daily activities may be for sightseeing by a long canal, riverside or at sea beach, or historical places nearby or to a city. Keep in count that Traveling may create strength inside you, besides tiring journey, certainly brings happiness.
And, you will miss it till next journey somewhere.
By the way, you have to keep saving for the next trip, unless somebody sponsors the travel cost as your childhood days.

I hope you love traveling too. If that is free of cost related to travel, then it becomes a super deal, right? I had these nice times while I was a child, you had too. Usually school holidays at grandparent’s home or uncle, aunty place, mostly back home with some extra, such as toys and gifts.
Start getting older with college, university and job, those sweet travels take place with some other busyness. And, we become get used to.
But still, we need to step out of these for a journey.

It’s for many years I am living in Batam Island, Indonesia. While I was in Singapore, I traveled to Jakarta a few times too. It’s really a busy city.

In fact, depends on time and financial solvency people plan to go far or near. I visited Jakarta mainly for visa issues, to the Singapore embassy and for passport renewal to Bangladesh embassy. And few other times to attend training and seminar, such as MDRT seminar in Jakarta.
While I was enough active with life insurance.
You can travel to another city or other countries. As your time, taste and money matter supports.
I traveled to some places in Bangladesh while active with Rover Scouting for camping purpose, besides visiting relatives.
In West Bengal of India, Calcutta is a city with a long history from Mughals till England. A lot of old establishments are with modern living making more attracting to travelers from the world anywhere. And, it’s a border city with Bangladesh. I traveled there by land transport, bus.
Calcutta: I will Visit Again
One of the cleanest, busy, high lifestyle with old and new. A garden alike small country on the map. But, attracting to the whole big world. Multi-racial peaceful island country. With many small islands.
A large shopping arcade for the Asian region. Remember, while visiting Singapore, throwing cigarette bud on the street or sea is a penalty of a few hundred Singapore Dollars.

One of my friends was working and living in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. In a Singapore computer school branch in Bangkok, he invited me to visit.
I flew from Singapore by Thai Air.

On an Eid holiday, we, a few friends from Singapore visited Kuala Lumpur and Genting Hiland of Malaysia. Here is the story.

You too have this kind of experience. Everybody has more or less. And we need. From this writing, you have a better idea now if you want to travel and willing to write on your journey.
I didn’t have a camera at that time, even a smartphone or mobile phone with a camera. And I don’t have those amazing moments.
Therefore, most of the pictures are collecting from stock photo sites or websites those I mention as photo courtesy or photo credit.
